Junction City Police Chief Tim Brown is confirming the arrest of Jordan Youing, 25, of Junction City on Monday. He was arrested at the JCPD on suspicion of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child, Attempted Criminal Sodomy, and Soliciation of a Child. “These charges stem from an investigation that has been going on for about the past week and I’m not really prepared to go into it any further than just to say that at this time.” Brown did not name the church involved.
Officials say Young is being held without bond in the Geary County Detention Center without bond. His first appearance in Geary County District Court is expected either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sources confirm for KJCK, The Talk of JC, the church in question is Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Junction City where Young reportedly oversaw the church’s music.
Brown stated recently police had received information concerning allegations about a church in Junction City they were investigating. “Obviously this continues to be a case that my detectives are working, obviously that part of it was that we arrested this individual this ( Monday ) morning.”
