Jordan Young, 25, Junction City has been arrested in two more probable cause cases involving alleged sex crimes including suspicion of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties, and indecent liberties.
The former Faith Tabernacle music director was arrested two times on Thursday at the Geary County Detention Center where he is already incarcerated in connection with other recent cases.
Police Chief Tim Brown confirmed the arrests.
Young was initially arrested August 13 and again August 17 on counts ranging from suspicion of criminal sodomy to aggravated indecent liberties with a child. The combined bond in those cases totals $500,000. Young is expected to have a first appearance in the latest cases Friday.
Brown said he can’t say how long the investigation in this case will take. “I don’t know how long its’ going to take to wrap this thing up. Obviously there continues to be people we need to talk to. And how long it will take us to do that I really can’t say.” The police chief added, “I will only say that we will be slow and methodical with this investigation.”
Jordan Young is the son of the former Faith Tabernacle Apostolic pastor Edwin Young.
