City receives Check
The city of Junction City has received a check totaling $4,618 from the federal Office of Economic Adjustment. The money is reimbursement from a U.S. 77 corridor study done a few years ago.
The study on improvements needed for that stretch of highway along the west side of Junction City was deemed necessary due to population growth in the region.
Flint Hills Regional Council Director Ty Warner presented the check to city commissioners this week.
