More than 600 Run for the Wall Riders spent the night in Junction City.RIDE FOR THE WALL

They arrived late Sunday afternoon, but their ceremony planned outdoors in Heritage Park had to be moved inside to the Church of the Nazarene on South Washington. One of the local coordinators for the Run for the Wall Connie Hall noted the riders endured rain and hail as they came into Geary County.

Many of the riders had planned to camp out, but they were instead allowed to spend the night in the Church of the Nazarene.

The contingent bound for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. left Junction City Monday morning traveling eastbound on I-70.
