The Director of Business Operations for Geary USD 475 Marcie Teenor has submitted her resignation.
Superintendent Ron Walker said the Board of Education accepted the resignation, effective September 13. “She is going to move to be closer to her husband, and then she’s accepted a job in Kansas City.” Her husband resides in Lawrence. Walker added. “He had an offer that took him to Lawrence a couple of years ago. Marci just kind of stayed on because she really felt a strong commitment to our school district. I can really appreciate that.”
