Advanced Call Center Technologies to Bring 625 Jobs to Junction City

The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce released the following Press Release Tuesday:
The City of Junction City and the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce announced today that Advanced Call Center Technologies has signed a six-year lease for the call center building on Spring Valley Rd. ACCT will take possession of the facility on June 1, 2014.
The company is currently recruiting 35 customer service agents for its first training class in June with the intention to be at a staff of 150 by the end of the year, 325 employees within the second year of operation and eventually ramping up to a
staff of 625 in year five. ACCT currently employs over 4,000 people in five states.
The company, looking for an immediate solution to provide services to an established clientele first visited Junction City on March 27. The company had visited other locations in Kansas with the assistance of the Kansas Department of Commerce and was considering sites in several other states as well.
Following the March visit where ACCT officials toured the facility with City administrators, Economic Development Commission representatives, Kansas Department of Commerce Recruitment Director Barbara Hake and local professionals, city officials began conversations with ACCT about a leasing agreement.
ACCT chief financial officer Jimmy Griffiths stated that, “the company selected Junction City due to the high quality available workforce and the outstanding available facility. This is our eighth domestic contact center location and we believe that a strong partnership with our local communities is the cornerstone for our success in our business. We have very much appreciated the efforts of the city leaders to date and look forward to a long-term relationship with Junction City.”
Junction City Mayor Mike Ryan added that, “we are very excited about Advance Call Center Technologies coming to Junction City. We see it as a positive move for ACCT and Junction City with great potential for both of us.”
