Shall the city of Manhattan be authorized to impose a quarter-of-one-cent city-wide sales tax to pay the cost of building two new multi-purpose gymnasium/neighborhood centers; renovation of softball and baseball fields plus tennis courts in Cico Park; and the costs for necessary right of way, design and construction of new recreational trails  and the improvement of existing recreational trails;  and/or a portion of the debt service requirements on any bonds issued in connection therewith all at an estimated cost of thirty million dollars.  The quality of life sales tax would be in effect for 10 years.
