Firefighters Work Saturday Morning Fire

fire-department-logoJunction City firefighters responded to 207 East Spruce Street in an area behind the Marriott Hotel early Saturday morning. the fire was in an outbuilding on the opposite side of active railroad tracks.

Dispatch notified Union Pacific and halted train traffic in that area.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The damage estimate has been placed by the Fire Department at $5,000. No one was injured.
