RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations.

Just before 10a.m. Tuesday, police arrested 20-year-old Ladaisha Ransom of Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Ransom was arrested on probable cause offenses of criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and aggravated assault.

Ransom remains jailed on a $30,000 bond.  On May 1, Ransom was jailed for an alleged probation violation.

In 2019, Ransom was among two teens accused of making felony criminal threats on social media.

At the time, the RCPD  reported the teens made threatening messages on Snapchat and appeared to have a gun. A citizen tipped police to the post which reportedly was aimed at two other teens. All four were students at the Manhattan High West Campus.
